Water damage is one of the most common types of loss homeowners experience. Your insurance policies cover this type of loss, but some have limits. It's important to know what those limits are before filing a water claim.
Wind doesn't necessarily mean a tropical storm or hurricane. Wind damage can be caused by smaller storms that generate 30+ MPH wind gusts. These wind gusts create openings which compromise the integrity of your roof. Once the shingle is compromised, the underlayment is exposed and there is only a matter of time before the water gets in.
Fires are scary and the thought of not having a home to go back to for months is just as bad. Thankfully, insurance policies cover fire and most have "Loss of Use". This section of your policy helps with paying for your temporary living expenses.
Your home is covered for this type of loss and has a separate deductible. Deductibles range from $500, 2%, 5% or 10% of the policy limits.
We can help determine the details of your policy with a simple policy review. Click on "schedule an appointment" tab to start the process.
Hail is covered in most policies. The common issue with hail in Florida that we get is the lack of experience in identifying the loss. Not all adjusters are familiar with identifying it and may miss all the signs. We have the proper training and tools necessary to identify this loss.
Mold is present in most homes we work. Mold grows for several reason. Roof, pipe leaks, poor caulking, A/C ducts and sometimes humidity in bathrooms.
Not all cases should be processed as a claim.
